Bringing East and West Together: PHBS Welcomes Texas A&M

The 29th of December was a special day at PHBS, as we had the visit of Haibo Wang, an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences and International Liaison at A.R. Sanchez Jr. School of Business, a member of the Texas A&M University system at Laredo, Texas. Also part of this visit was a group of undergraduate students, mainly from the business department.

For most of the students, it was their first time in China and they were really happy and eager to learn about the Chinese culture and history.

After a tour, in which the students were introduced to the different departments on the PKU campus, a meeting was held back at PHBS, presided from the faculty side by Professors Young Joon Park and Terrill L. Frantz and from the administrative side by teacher Mao.

The purpose of the meeting was to introduce PHBS and the role it plays in bringing East and West together.
This event was also a great occasion to exchange ideas about international education from a local, American and international perspectives.

We are looking forward to future visits from Texas A&M students and faculties, as they are always welcome on our campus.

Special thanks to the MBA Office, students and Center for Green Economy at PHBS for the help and support in organizing this important meeting.
